The past is a closed hand. What it held, it keeps. It cannot be reasoned with or undone. It does not follow you — unless you carry it.
The present is narrow, but it is everything. It arrives without fanfare and leaves without sound. To be within it is to be alive. To miss it is to sleep through your own life.
The future is without voice. It does not reveal itself in advance. It waits — shaped quietly by each small decision made now. It is not a place to reach for, but a place to arrive with clean hands.
Jada is a contemporary artist born in 2000, whose work navigates the emotional, philosophical and religious space between what was, what is, and what may come.
Drawing influence from the psychological intensity of Van Gogh and the dramatic realism of Caravaggio, Jada’s work operates at the intersection of spirituality, mortality, and time itself.
Her practice is grounded in a deep interrogation of myth, ritual, and belief — using painting as a way to hold a mirror to the stories we inherit and the silences we carry.
